Unclash brings your calendars into one view and copies busy time to the calendars people use to book you. For example, a personal appointment can block time on your work calendar without copying its title. You keep using your existing calendar apps to manage your schedule.
The public service currently supports Google Calendar, including multiple personal or Google Workspace accounts. You need permission to read the source calendar and edit the target calendar. Your organization's Google Workspace settings may restrict access. Outlook and iCloud are not currently available in the public service.
Yes, if your booking service checks the calendar you choose as the sync target. Unclash adds busy events there so the booking service can exclude those times. Check which calendars your booking service uses and allow time for changes to sync; Unclash does not create a booking page or automatically resolve existing double bookings.
Sync rules read your source events and create, update, or remove their copies on the target calendar. They do not edit the originals or copy the guest list to send new invitations. Editing an original event yourself in Unclash, or through an AI assistant you connect, is a separate action that can change the original calendar.
No. Sync runs in the background after you connect your accounts and create a rule. You can close the browser. Your calendar permissions must remain valid and the rule must stay active; check Settings and Sync logs if an account needs to be reconnected.
Free costs $0 and includes up to 2 active sync rules that copy busy time without the original title, description, or location. Synced events include an Unclash attribution and follow the target calendar's sharing settings. Pro includes up to 16 active rules, copying selected event details, private visibility, and the option to hide the attribution. Choose Pro if you need more directions or more control over the copied events.
Yes. New accounts start with a 14-day Pro trial, including up to 16 active sync rules and Pro's sharing options. No credit card is required. Unless you explicitly purchase Pro, the trial ends without a charge and your account moves to Free.
One rule is one direction between two calendars: Work → Personal counts as 1 rule. Adding Personal → Work uses a second rule. Free's 2 active rules can cover that pair in both directions; Pro allows 16 active rules in total. Connected accounts, calendars you only view, and paused rules do not count toward this limit.
Pro costs US$8 per month or US$72 per year. Both include the same features. Annual billing charges US$72 in one payment each year; US$6 per month is the monthly equivalent, not a monthly installment. Annual billing saves US$24 (25%) compared with 12 monthly payments. Paid plans renew automatically until canceled.
Pro prices are in US dollars. Review the currency and final total in Stripe Checkout before confirming payment. If your payment account uses another currency, conversion and any related fees depend on your payment provider. Unclash does not add usage charges per synced event; each plan has a limit on active sync rules.
Billing starts when you complete the Pro purchase in Stripe Checkout, even if time remains on your free trial. The remaining trial days do not delay the first payment. If you want to use the full free trial first, wait until you are ready to start paying, and check the amount and billing interval before purchasing.
When your trial ends without a purchase, or your paid access ends, all existing sync rules are paused. They are kept, rather than converted to Free settings, and existing target events are not automatically removed by the plan change. Those copies will no longer stay up to date. To continue on Free, create up to 2 new Busy-only rules and review any copies left by the old rules.
Contact contact@unclash.co before your next renewal for help canceling Pro or updating payment details. You can check your plan in Settings → Billing plan; if Manage billing is available, you can also use Stripe's portal. Confirm the cancellation effective date: when cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period, Pro remains available until that date, then the account moves to Free.
Both options provide the same Pro features. To change an existing subscription's billing interval, contact contact@unclash.co before renewal so the available change and its timing can be confirmed. Do not start another purchase to change the interval of an active subscription.
Canceling renewal does not automatically refund the unused part of a month or year. After service has begun, refunds are generally not offered, except where required by law or separately stated at purchase. Review the purchase terms before subscribing, and contact contact@unclash.co if you believe a charge is incorrect.
Settings → Billing plan shows your current plan and the renewal or access-end date received from Stripe. If Manage billing is available, it opens invoices and payment details in Stripe; otherwise, contact contact@unclash.co for help with an invoice. If billing information has not appeared after a purchase, refresh Settings. If it still looks wrong, contact support instead of paying again.
Unclash identifies the copies it creates and excludes them from source events. You can use Work → Personal and Personal → Work without repeatedly copying those events back and forth. Manually duplicated events or copies created by another sync service are separate, so avoid running overlapping sync tools on the same calendars.
Unclash processes changes in the background when Google Calendar notifies it, and also checks calendars periodically. Delivery time can vary with Google, the number of changes, and retries, so there is no fixed promise that every event will sync within a minute. Check Sync logs and the target calendar before relying on a last-minute change.
You can choose whether to include all-day events and events where your attendance is optional. Events marked as free and invitations you have declined are excluded. Tentative invitations and invitations you have not answered still reserve time and are included. Unclash updates or removes the target copy as the source event changes or stops qualifying for sync.
Sync covers the past 7 days and the next 180 days. This range moves forward each day; later events become eligible as they enter it. The range is fixed, not a setting for each rule. The unified calendar can show events further ahead, so seeing an event there does not mean its target copy has already been created.
Once Unclash detects that you deleted a target copy, it stops syncing that particular event to that target and does not recreate the copy during later syncs. The source event stays in its original calendar, and other events covered by the rule continue syncing.
Deleting a rule stops its sync and queues removal of the target events created by that rule. Your source events are kept. Removing the copies can take time and requires access to the target calendar, so check the result before disconnecting the account. This differs from a plan downgrade, which pauses rules and leaves existing copies in place.
With Busy-only sync, the original title, description, and location are not copied to your work calendar. The target shows a busy block and, on Free, an Unclash attribution. On Pro, you can choose which details to copy. Anything you copy is saved on the target calendar, where its sharing permissions and your rule's visibility setting determine who can see it.
No. Private visibility and copying details are separate choices. If you copy a title, description, or location, that information is stored on the target even when the event is private. Calendar owners and people with relevant administrative access may still see it. To keep the original details off a target calendar, leave those copy options off.
Unclash does not copy guest lists, dedicated conferencing fields, or attachments. Pro can copy the title, description, and location you select. If a meeting URL or other sensitive text is written inside a description or location, copying that field can also copy the text. Leave the field off if it should not reach the target calendar.
Yes. Unclash keeps the calendar information and selected event fields needed to display and sync your schedule, including titles, descriptions, locations, and times. It does not store the full raw event response, attachments, guest lists, or dedicated conferencing data. Event details are cached for a limited period. The Privacy Policy explains the fields, retention, and account-deletion options.
Check that the account is connected, the rule is active, and you can edit the target calendar. In Sync logs, look for a failed job or a request to reconnect. Also check your trial or paid-plan status, the 180-day sync range, and the rule's all-day and optional-event settings. Events marked free, declined invitations, and copies you deleted on the target will not be synced.
Yes. Use Settings to remove a connected account; Unclash removes its stored calendar information and cached event data. You can also revoke access in your Google Account, which prevents further sync using that connection. If you want to remove synced copies as well, delete the relevant rules and let cleanup finish before revoking access.
Unclash provides an MCP connection on Free and Pro at no additional Unclash charge. A compatible assistant can read connected calendars and events and create, update, or delete events in calendars you can edit. The assistant service may require its own paid plan. Check the access you approve: actions through the assistant can change your actual calendar events.
In an assistant that supports remote MCP with OAuth, add https://api.unclash.co/mcp, sign in to Unclash, and review the consent screen. The assistant receives calendar information returned by the tools it uses, so review that provider's data policy before connecting. Availability and confirmation prompts depend on the assistant; Unclash does not guarantee how every assistant will handle your data or ask for confirmation.
