Terms of Service

Effective date: June 30, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of Unclash, a calendar availability and sync service. Contact: unclash.co@gmail.com.

Use of Unclash

Unclash helps users understand availability across connected calendars and create sync rules that write availability or selected event details to calendars chosen by the user.

When the unified calendar provides event actions, users may also create, move, or delete Google Calendar events from Unclash.

  • You may use Unclash only if you can agree to these Terms and have authority to connect and manage the calendars you choose.
  • You are responsible for reviewing connected accounts, selected calendars, sync rules, copied fields, and target calendars before enabling sync.
  • External calendar services remain the source of truth for original calendar events.

Account and security

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials, passkeys, sessions, and connected accounts secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account unless the activity was caused by Unclash's failure to meet its legal obligations.
  • If you believe your account or a connected calendar has been used without permission, contact Unclash promptly.

External services and calendar sync

  • Unclash depends on external calendar providers such as Google Calendar. Their availability, permissions, limits, outages, and policy changes may affect Unclash.
  • Calendar sync can be delayed, skipped, retried, or fail because of provider limits, revoked permissions, network issues, configuration errors, or service incidents.
  • When you create, move, or delete an event from Unclash, that action changes the selected external calendar and may affect people or systems that rely on that calendar.
  • You should not rely on Unclash as the sole record for urgent, legal, medical, safety-critical, or other high-risk scheduling decisions.
  • Unclash may add an attribution marker or service link to events it creates or updates, unless the product provides a setting to disable it.

Fees

  • Free trials, Free plan limits, Pro plan features, prices, renewal periods, and cancellation terms are shown on the pricing page, checkout, or billing portal before they apply.
  • Paid subscriptions are processed through the payment provider shown at checkout. Users are responsible for keeping payment information current and for managing cancellation before renewal when they no longer want a paid plan.
  • Users are responsible for any charges from third-party services, network providers, or devices used with Unclash.

Prohibited conduct

  • Do not connect calendars or accounts that you are not authorized to access or manage.
  • Do not use Unclash to violate law, infringe rights, send spam, harass others, or expose private calendar information without permission.
  • Do not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, probe security, introduce malware, overload infrastructure, or misuse APIs.
  • Do not reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or commercially exploit Unclash except as permitted by law or by written permission from Unclash.

Data and privacy

Unclash handles account, calendar, analytics, and operational data as described in the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is part of the overall terms for using the service.

Suspension, termination, and account deletion

  • You may stop using Unclash at any time and may delete your account where the product provides that function.
  • Unclash may suspend or restrict access if necessary to protect users, the service, connected providers, or legal compliance.
  • Deleting an Unclash account does not delete original events stored in external calendar services and may not remove events already created in external calendars.

Intellectual property

  • Unclash and its software, design, branding, and documentation are owned by Unclash or its licensors.
  • Your calendar data, account data, and content from connected services remain yours or the relevant rights holder's data.
  • You grant Unclash the limited rights needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service according to your settings and these Terms.

Disclaimers

Unclash is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. Unclash does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, always current, or that calendar conflicts will never occur.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Unclash is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages. Unclash's aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service during the 12 months before the claim, or JPY 10,000, whichever is greater.

Changes to the service or Terms

Unclash may update the service or these Terms as the product changes. Material changes will be announced in a reasonable way, and continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, excluding conflict-of-law rules. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for disputes related to these Terms or the service, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
